I am extremely excited to announce the official launch of my hands-on AI for Content Marketers Workshop. This workshop was born out of the work I did developing my Content Marketing Kickstart program. I’ve been refining prompts I use to do the in-depth Brand Voice Guide, Comprehensive Content Audit, and Content Plans and thought, why not make an affordable session for other content marketers to learn AI.

AI-generated content has caused a seismic jolt to every content marketer I know. Everyone is wondering if they should use it, how they should use it, and how to use AI as a content collaborator, not content creator.

I’ve been using AI tools for podcast editing, research, outlines, vibe coding, and drafting content for more than three years now, but in the past three months I’ve really doubled down. You don’t have to know anything about AI for this workshop. We’re going to start right at the beginning. If you’re a more advanced AI user, I’ll get some hands on practice with advanced prompts and outputs. You can use free or paid versions of ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, or Copilot for the workshop (paid versions of these AI tools are recommended for the best experience).

For this course you’ll need to come prepared with:

  • Website and brand to analyze
  • Text editor like Notepad, Notepad++, BBEdit, or TextEdit for pasting prompts and output into
  • Word, Google Docs, or Pages to paste and save your reports
  • Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers to paste your content calendar into
  • Examples of the best content from the website being analyzed (2-3)
  • 3-4 words to describe the brand (current or aspirational)
  • 2-3 examples of content your enjoy reading or complements your brand
  • 2-3 competitor websites
  • 1-2 examples per competitor of their content
  • What kinds of content you want
  • How often you want to publish each type of content
  • How many months to generate ideas for 1-12 months
