- Near-Time is working towards the release of Version 1.0.1 of Near-Time Flow, its peer-to-peer collaborative content and knowledge manager for Mac OS X. - Macromedia announced Version 3 of Contribute, its web publishing system for non-technical users. New features: more granular administrator control, flexible approval workflow, editing enhancements, and Dreamweaver MX 200 integration. Due in August 2004. Macromedia. - The META Group say that Microsoft's alliance with AOL and Yahoo for IM interoperability with LCS 2005 is a “power move” in the enterprise IM space and in the convergence of collaboration and communications services. META
- Parlano announced an alliance with xtendx for the provision of real-time communication and collaboration solutions to the financial services industry in Switzerland. - Gordano released Version 10 of the Gordano Messaging Suite, its multi-platform messaging and collaboration system. New features: a revised GMS Collaboration Server which provides full integration with Microsoft Outlook, shared folders, Internet free/busy search, and virus protection, among others.
