Building Websites with WordPress Course Outline

In case you’d like to know what I cover when I teach my Building Websites with WordPress class, I’ve uploaded the course outline to iWork.com and you can download a PDF version of it for yourself. Directly related to this outline is that I’m often asked if I’m teaching the class at other times, the short and easy answer to this is: yes. Both BCIT and UBC have the class in their fall schedules (more details to come closer to class time). That said, I am also asked if I teach the classes outside of BCIT or UBC. The answer to that is: yes, I could.

The sticky part is that although I could teach these classes outside of UBC or BCIT, I don’t have the time this summer to organize and plan to teach the classes on my own. However, if you would like me to teach my Websites with WordPress class for your group and are willing to do the leg work to organize it, I’m happy to teach full and half day classes for you. The hard part with these classes isn’t just the teaching part, it’s finding a venue, promoting the class, and selling space.

If you’re interested, ping me through my contact me page.

I’m also available for speaking and leading workshops on Twitter, social media and business, and competitive intelligence. I’m not just a WordPress guy you know

  1. I’m wondering if the course requires a computer lab venue or a lecture theatre with projector set up.

    • I can do it in a lecture hall, but people will certainly get more out of it if they can follow along. So even having their own laptops would be a great solution.
